Wake Up and Shape Up - Bootcamp Weymouth
Monday, October 4th, 2010
WAKE UP AND SHAPE UP . . . . IN THE WARM!
Yep, Autumn has well and truly set in, and Winter will be on its way in no time at all. The mornings are getting darker, wetter and colder, and I’m guessing that the majority of people don’t like training in the dark, wet or cold at 6.30am!
.
So, I’ve had a masterplan. You see, often people will give up on a training program when the weather gets a bit crap, and the days get darker and shorter, as the motivation to get up early, head out for a run or get to the gym to train seems to go out the window faster than the English Summertime. But giving up is not the thing to do. After all, why let your fitness and figure slip just because mother nature has dictated that our climate is gonna suck for most of the year?! So, after A LOT of digging around (it’s amazing how many facilities don’t open as early as we train!), I’ve managed to arrange a suitable indoor location for us to train in. Yippee.
.
This means that you can be warm, on a stable surface, and out of the rain (there’s even toilets, a kitchen and plenty of free parking!), but STILL get to participate in some kickass workouts and get some remarkable results. Bonus. Now, the workouts this time around will be a little different. Of course there will be a lot of stuff that’s similar to what we’ve already been doing in the programs, so loads of bodyweight work, some cardio (minimal to zero running) but for the winter months we’re going to be doing a lot more training with the bands, the balls and a few other toys. As well as fat loss, I’m really keen on putting a big emphasis on core development over the next 4 week program, so that come Christmas and New Years, not only will you be looking amazing in that little black dress, wooly Rudolph jumper or new years outfit, but you will have a strong, tight core, helping you stay injury free, with great posture and function. Topping off all that, is the fact that AT LAST, you’ll have NO reason to set ANOTHER new years resolution to lose weight, get fit and get skinny bla bla bla, as you’ll already be there, in seriously great shape! So when your friends are out trying to power walk their Christmas puddings off, you can smile to yourself knowing that you don’t need to do that!
.
So, here’s the details for the next program:
.
Day and time: Monday and Fridays, 6.30-7.15am
Location: St Aldhelms Church Hall, Spa Road, Radipole, Weymouth, DT3 5EW
Price: £40
Duration: 4 weeks
Start date: Monday 11th October
.
Once again, I’ll be providing you with a full training and nutrition program. The program you’ll get is dependent on how long you’ve been on the program for, so will ensure you get great results. If it’s your first program, you’ll work through the Shift it protocols, if it’s your second you’ll work through the BLAST protocols, for phase 3 you’ll run through Program F, etc etc. You’ll also of course have access to me via telephone and email as often as you need to for additional support.
.
To sign yourself up, all you need to do is first off email andy@procisionfitness.com, and then head over to http://www.procisionfitness.com/fitness_classes.html and make your payment via PayPal at the bottom of the page in the Wake up and Shape up box, and that’s you all sorted ![]()
.
There’s also a little twist . . . .
.
If you’re someone who struggles for motivation during the week, needs a bigger kick up the ass, or just wants to train more, this will interest you: I’ve managed to shift a couple of things around and free myself up on a Wednesday morning until 7.30am, as I’ve decided that if there are enough people that want to train, I’ll run a 3rd session on the Weds morning, same time and place as above. To Salute your loyalty, this will only cost an additional £15 for those of you who wish to do the full 3 sessions per week. If you wish to do this, please email andy@procisionfitness.com letting me know that you want to, so I can confirm numbers and whether to run the additional session.
.
That’s all for now, so I’ll leave you to it.
.
Have a great week, and make sure you hit me back asap, as there’s an absolute maximum of 16 people allowed on this program ![]()
.
To your success

Monday Night Outdoor Fitness Class Weymouth
Tuesday, September 7th, 2010
This Monday just past (Sept 5th) was the final Monday night Move it and Lose it session, and I’ve decided I don’t like the sound of that!
So, I have some good news and some bad news for you.
The GOOD news: I’d previously thought that as soon as summer was over that I wouldn’t be able to run another Monday night program due to another commitment I have with a class up on Portland. BUT . . . I’ve enjoyed this program so much that I’ve managed to swing it so that I can deliver another round for you, and have another trainer pal of mine run my Portland session for a few weeks. Bonus.
The BAD news: You’re stuck with me and my nasty little protocols for another 6 weeks of training! Ok, so maybe it’s not so bad after all
.Anyway, the program is going to run right off the back of this one, meaning that session 1 is going to be Monday 13th Sept. I’m going to run it as an 8 week cycle this time around, and again the program will give you a full nutritional and exercise strategy that will (if followed properly) give you some blinding results in much the same way as my one to one clients get to achieve with me..
I’m also going to be mixing things up that little bit more this time around, and taking you guys through some pretty ‘out of the box’ training methods that’ll get you dropping pounds in some seriously fast times. I not gonna tell you any of these just yet, but I can GUARANTEE you’ll not have done most or all of them, and you probably won’t have even thought you COULD do them. But believe me, YOU CAN, and YOU WILL!!! You can probably tell that I’m kind of excited about this, and the fact you’re still reading this tells me you are too. Am I right?!.
Great!.In terms of itinerary, I’m gong to give you the first 4 weeks right now, and the second 4 weeks will be decided a little further down the line so I can make sure there’s plenty of light wherever we go and also factor in a couple of other things too. So here’s where we are in weeks 1-4:.Mon 13th Sept: Café Oasis, Overcome Corner
Mon 20th Sept: Lodmoor Car park, opposite Go Karts
Mon 27th Sept: Esplanade, Red mine by Pavillion
Mon 4th Oct: Lodmoor car park, opposite Go Karts.
Now, seeing as we’re just less than one week away from this program kicking off, we need to move pretty fast on this one. So, in order to sign yourself up, first off I need you to hit me back as soon as you can (hopefully right now) to let me know you’re ‘IN’. Secondly, sometime on or before Saturday Sept 11th, I need you to head over to http://www.procisionfitness.com/ and make payment of £40 via the ‘Summer Slimmer’ PayPal link, on the bottom left of the home page (yes I know this isn’t the Summer Slimmer, program, but it saves me putting a new button on. When all that’s done, you’ll be fully signed up and ready to rumble.
.
I think that’s just about all bases covered for now. As soon as I have everyone’s confirmations in, I’ll be emailing out the new home based workout program, nutritional strategy, and whatever else I need to send through.
.
I’ll leave you in peace now, so make sure you hit me back letting me know you’re keen for this next program and we can get things moving along right away

Weymouth Outdoor Fitness Class - Early Mornings
Monday, September 6th, 2010
Summer is over, and so is Summer Slimmer
At the end of this week I’ll be eagerly awaiting the results of those who have been completing Program F over the past 3 weeks, and I’ve already heard of some pretty great results, with weight loss in the first week alone of up to 8lbs!
So anyway, here’s what’s going to happen.
From Monday Sept 13th I’ll be running another early morning program, in much the same manner as Summer Slimmer (I’d keep the name, but Summer is on its way out, so the name must do too!). The new program, Wake Up and Shape Up, is going to be Monday and Friday mornings, 6.30am til 7.15am, at various outdoor locations around Weymouth.
Once again, the program is going to be 100% focused on helping YOU lose those pounds and inches that you don’t want hanging around any longer. I’ll be giving you another full nutrition and exercise program so you know exactly what you need to do in your own time to succeed, and you’ll be able to email/call me as much as you need to in order to stay motivated and hit your targets.
Here’s the itinerary and dates:
Mon 13th Sept: Café Oasis, Overcombe
Fri 17th Sept: Lodmoor car park, opposite entrance to Sealife Centre
Mon 20th Sept: Weymouth Swimming Pool, car park
Fri 24th Sept: Esplanade, Red mine opposite Alexandra Gardens
Mon 27th Sept: Café Oasis, Overcombe
Fri 1st Oct: Lodmoor Country park, opposite entrance to Sealife Centre
Mon 4th Oct: Weymouth Swimming Pool, car park
Fri 8th Oct: Esplanade, Red mine opposite Alexandra Gardens
Just as before, the full program costs £40, and can be paid for via http://www.procisionfitness.com/ (via the Summer Slimmer PayPal button on the bottom left of the screen), so it’s nice and easy to sign up. In order to secure your place on the program, please send me an email letting me know that you’ll be attending, and then if you could head over to http://www.procisionfitness.com/ and make your payment sometime before midnight on Sat 11th Sept, then that’ll be you all signed up ![]()
Finally, it’d be great to get some new faces on the program, so here’s an incentive: Recommend a friend, and you’ll BOTH get 2 x free sessions for my new Wednesday evening circuit class, kicking off later this month! So, if you have a friend, acquaintance, family member, colleague or anyone else who may be keen to sign up, send them the details, and when they email me letting me know YOU sent them, I’ll ping you both an email with 2 free sessions each once the program starts!
That’s it from me for now, so I look forward to hearing from you soon!
To your success

GROUP FITNESS DORSET: HARDCORE & OUTDOORS WORKOUT 2
Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009
SESSION NO. 2 - 24/02/09
Another great session at Overcombe Beach today. Decided to give the guys a bit of something different tonight, so brought down a load of tyres, a killer workout and a bright yellow jacket!
I had a bit of a hamstring niggle, so was gutted I couldn’t train. However, the others certainly trained! Check out the session, again working in pairs:
Circuit 1
Partner A: Tyre deadlift to throw, for 25 metres, Partner B: 20m sprint up, jog back (swap when 1 lap of tyre throws completed)
Circuit 2
Partner A: 20m sprint up, jog back, Partner B: Push ups on tyre, squats, tyre squat to press, tyre press up to deadlift to curl to press. Did this for 2 sets of 5 mins continuous. Great burn!
Superset 1
Partner A: Tyre side hops, Partner B: Squats
Superset 2:
Partner A: Tyre push up, to deadlift, to curl, to press, Partner B: 5 x 10m stone sprints (up a 60 degree incline!)
Superset 3:
Partner A: Tyre push up to tyre squat, Partner B: 20m sprint up and back
Followed by a cool down and some stretching.
A LOT of quality work out in in just 60 minutes, including warm up and cool down.
Next week will be at a different location, with even more immense exercises and a great burn!
See you there!

Monday, January 26th, 2009
Are you looking to lose the excess body fat effectively? Or maybe just boost your training?
Well . . . .
Just a quick one to say, that Procision Fitness is now providing Circuit Training at Budmouth Community Sports Centre in Weymouth, on Wednesdays at 6.15pm til 7.15pm.
The first 6 weeks are focussing in burning off those Winter pounds, and will involve resistance training using bands, bodyweight, med balls and weights, aerobic conditioning using steps, cones, bodyweight, and skipping ropes, some speed, agility and quickness drills using ladders and hurdles, and a good stretch to bost flexibility and recovery at the end!
Sessions cost £3.50 or £20 for a block of 6. Sessions will run every Wednesday from Jan 28th (except for Feb 11th as I am on another coaching course).
Any questions, send them through. Otherwise, I’ll see you there!
